My name is Damon Ayala. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno and am currently pursuing my MBA at UNR. I have experience supporting marketing, communications, and branding initiatives, with a particular interest in how organizational culture and messaging influence engagement and performance. I see myself as someone who actively strengthens group culture, recognizing that a strong, intentional environment is foundational to success.
During my undergraduate studies, I held multiple leadership roles within Tau Kappa Epsilon. In those positions, I implemented new academic accountability measures that encouraged members to prioritize their studies, resulting in the highest chapter GPA achieved during my time in the organization.
As a Student Intern at NV Energy, I support social media and outreach efforts while contributing to internal and external branding initiatives that reflect and reinforce the company’s culture. Through strategic messaging and creative content, I help communicate not just what the organization does, but who is behind it – strengthening alignment between the people behind the scenes and the communities we serve.
Across my experience, I am driven by the opportunity to build environments where people perform at a higher level while genuinely enjoying the process.
